Join me this Sunday at 10:00am as we continue our study in the book of Titus. This week, we will be looking at Titus 1:6-9, where Paul provides us with a checklist for Living Right in a Wrong World. You might consider taking a few minutes before the service to read these 3 verses and look for the 15 things Paul says should be found in the life of a Jesus follower.
As always, you can access our online service by going to our webpage. Once you are on our home page, simply scroll down to where you see "SCHEDULE". You can then click on either the "streaming on YouTube" or "streaming on Facebook" and you will be automatically directed to the service. I also want to invite you to join us at 11:00am for our "after-church" zoom gathering. Zoom is really easy to use. All you need is a computer or device with a webcam and microphone. There are two ways for you to join us on zoom.
NOTE: I have set-up this meeting so the link above will be the same link EVERY Sunday. Finally, attached to this email is the weekly Parkside Prayer Letter. In addition to praying through this list, I would also ask you to take some time and pray for our nation. Our country is experiencing so much brokenness - it's hard to know where to begin praying. I would simply ask that you pray and ask for God's help and healing during this chaotic time in the life of our city, our country and our world. Let's continue to be a church known for prayer. "See" you Sunday. Pastor Doug This Sunday at 10:00am, we kick-off a brand new series as we will be looking at the letter Paul wrote to his young protege, Titus. If you've never taken the time to read the book of Titus, I would encourage you to take some time over the next two days and read this short letter from Paul.
As you read Titus, below are 3 questions I would ask you to consider:

Hi Parkside Family.
Please continue to prayer for those in our church family who are struggling with health issues, along with those who are working on the frontlines of COVID-19. One of our specific goals for 2020 is to be a church that prays! Also, next Tuesday, May 5th, Pastor Roger will be hosting a zoom class titled, PNW Evangelism: Past, Present and Future. With this 4 week study, Pastor Roger will help each of us discover our own unique "voice" in sharing the Good News about Jesus. How do we naturally and winsomely talk about matters of faith with our family, friends, neighbors, or others? Come learn how a coffee conversation can lead to a dinner conversation. We all need an intentional game plan. This class format will be relaxed and relational. You'll gain skills in: *Basic evangelism *Spiritual formation *Intro apologetics (really, very basic!) Don't miss out on this opportunity to join with others from Parkside, as we seek to engage our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Again, this 4 week class begins next Tuesday, May 5th from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on zoom. Simply click on the link below approximately 5 minutes prior to the meeting and follow the prompts to join the class. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83543361527?pwd=dWN2aUFOYktnblpsQW1YdjdXaUJjUT09 After clicking on the link, you may be prompted to type in a Meeting ID and Password.
